Tunable WDM
Most WDM systems today are based on optical transceivers with a fixed wavelength or lambda, which means a reserve for every wavelength used. Tunable Optical Transceivers are the solution to reduce spare parts. Tunable means the ability to adjust the wavelength of the transceiver on site to the required lambda.
Opticonnect offers a range of adjustable transceivers for optical fiber communication with data speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) and distances of up to 80 km. With these transceivers you can change unlimited wavelengths within the C-band DWDM ITU grid.
The tuning of this optics can be done by us and some intelligent network devices can do it for you. The transceivers can be used in various types of equipment, such as switches, routers and servers from different suppliers. A warranty period of three years applies to all these products.
XFP Tunable
The Tunable XFP optic is equipped with an integrated, fully C-band tunable transmitter and a powerful PIN receiver. You can submit an application to set each 50 Ghz DWDM ITU Grid wavelength as the default. Our Tunable XFP transceivers are available for two different distances. We offer Tunable XFP optic with distances up to 40 km with a 14 dB power budget and a distance of up to 80 km with an energy budget of 22dB. We ship our optics with the desired wavelength as standard.

SFP+ Tunable
The Tunable SFP+ optics are provide with an integrated full C-ban tunable transmitter and a high performance PIN receiver. You can request to set any 50GH DWDM ITU Grid wavelength as default. Our Tunable SFP+ transceivers are available for two different distances. We offer Tunable SFP+ optics covering distances up to 40km with an 14 dB power budget and a distance up to 80km with an 22dB power budget. We ship our optics with your prefered wavelength set as default.
