100G DWDM Muxponder
The PacketLight’s 100G DWDM Multiprotocol Multirate OTN Muxponder for high capacity optical transport solution is highly integrated platform for providing a unified 100G optical transport layer- supporting various client services including protocols: 40G LAN, 10G LAN/WAN, STM64/OC-192, OTU2/3 and 8G/10G FC.
The PacketLight's 100G OTN Muxponder is designed to provide 100G transport solution in modular and cost effective way for rolling out services. It uses standards based, pluggable optical modules on all the optical interfaces on both client and line side. It is targeted for meeting the market demands for low power consumption, rack space savings and reduction in the overall solution CAPEX and OPEX by increasing the capacity of optical fiber as for enterprise as for carrier networks.
Unlike other 100G solutions, PacketLight integrates up to two optical amplifiers, Mux/Demux and DCM modules if needed in the same 1U chassis offering the smallest and the most integrated 100G transport solution in the industry.
10G Multirate/Multiprotocol CWDM DWDM OTN Muxponder
10G OTN Muxponder PL-2000 provides efficient and flexible aggregation layer of multi-protocol/multirate sub-10G services into single 10G uplink trunk. The 10G OTU2 uplink can aggregate simultaneously SDH/SONET, Ethernet, Fibre Channel and Video services, thus providing a perfect access platform for multiple clients’ needs and allows merger of legacy and new services transparently. The rates and protocols supported range from Fast Ethernet to Gigabit Ethernet, 1/2/4G FC/FICON, STM-1/OC-3, STM-4/OC-12, STM-16/OC-48 and video signals of DVB-ASI, SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G HD-SDI.
PL-2000 supports two modes of operation. In one mode, it can aggregate up to 16 multirate/multiprotocol services into a single 10G OTU2 uplink pipe with a second 10G OTU2 uplink pipe providing full line protection. In another application, PL-2000 can aggregate 16 (dual 8) multirate/multiprotocol services into a 20G aggregated uplink pipe with OTU2 capability. This application is a perfect fit for ring applications and high bandwidth point to point applications.
10GB Ethernet DWDM OTN Muxponder

PacketLight‘s PL-1000EM 10G DWDM OTN Muxponder introduces high density 10x GbE channels with transparent layer-1, ultra low latency mapping to 10G uplink pipe without packet loss. This solution fits perfectly not only for service providers but also for enterprises and the financial market.
PL-1000EM is fully integrated with the rest of PackethLight’s products PL-400, PL-1000, PL-1000E, PL-1000IL and PL-300. It can also be managed by HTTP web browsers, CLI, PacketLight’s EMS or by 3rd party SNMP system.
Dual 4xGbE 4G OTN Muxponder
PacketLight’s PL-400 boasts 4 or 8 transponders each supporting up to 4.25Gb multiprotocol services ranging from Fast Ethernet to GbE, 1/2/4Gb Fibre Channel (FC) and STM-1/OC-3, STM-4/OC-12, and STM-16/OC-48. With integrated Mux/Demux and up to two EDFA amplifiers, PL-400 can also integrate up to two muxponders. Each Muxponder in PL-400 aggregates 4 services of GbE into a single wavelength with an uplink of 4Gb. Fully populated PL-400 allows transport of 4xGbE+1 or 8GbE+2 services thus increasing the fiber utilization of already existing CWDM or DWDM Network.
